PITTSBURG, KS-- Pittsburg's Slavation Army's Red Kettle Campaign has now gone virtual.

You don't have to stand outside of a store ringing a bell to help the organization get donations.

By going to the "Online Red Kettle" website you can create your own cyber kettle and post it on various social sites.

People who come across it can then donate money using a debit or credit card.

"The online kettle will help us get the word out and also raise resources that are critically needed during this very busy time," says Pittsburg Salvation Army Captain Gary Gugala.

All money collected through the virtual kettles will be used to help low income families in Crawford County.
