New Webb City Fire Chief

WEBB CITY, MO.--- Andrew Roughton has been hired as the new fire chief. He's worked for the department for the past 3 years. Prior to that he worked for the Joplin Fire Department. Roughton says his goal is to continue operating the department at a high level.

"I'm really looking forward to the new challenges. being a fire chief is a new role for me, and learning those new challenges, and stepping up to them and confronting them is going to be really intriguing to me," states Andrew Roughton, Webb City Fire Chief. 

Roughton replaced Ernie Goad, who retired after 34 years with the Webb City Fire Department.
