Grand Jury Indictments

Several Four-State residents are indicted by a federal grand jury. 23-year old Scott Ryan of Granby is charged with burglary at the Carver National Monument near Diamond. Investigators say Ryan broke into the visitors center and tried to steal the monument`s donation box. 53-year old Steve Hogan was charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Hogan was convicted of selling marijuana in Jasper County in 1981. And 38-year old Terry Morrison of Noel is also charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Morrison had been convicted of unlawful delivery of cocaine in Texas in 1995 and 1997. If convicted, Hogan and Morrison could be sentenced to 10 years in prison.
