DUENWEG, MO.--- Academy Sports and Outdoors dropped off 30 new bikes and safety helmets to students at Duenweg Elementary School. Teachers awarded the bikes to students who had the best academic performance, perfect attendance, and good behavior. Company officials say they look forward to giving away the bikes all year.

"It just reminds you what Christmas is all about and the excitement that everybody has when they're younger about the Christmas holiday. It kind of just rejuvenates you. It gets you excited about what you do," states Mike Murphy, Store Director, Academy Sports.

Academy Sports donates more than $200,000 worth of gifts to more than 2,000 kids each year.
