Quapaw, OK -- The new hotel tower is called Kappa, and it's added 152 upscale rooms attached to the casino. The resort now has a total of 374 rooms, making it the largest hotel and casino in the area. Downstream Casino Spokesperson Sean Harrison says they want to create an experience some people only see in Vegas. "Our goal is to create an atmosphere where guests can come and forget that their in the Tri-State region."

The $50 Million expansion also includes two new 1,500 square foot hospitality suites, and a high end spa. Hotel officials say the benefits of the new rooms go beyond the casino walls. The new building has lead to 100 permanent jobs for people living in the area, which include benefits that hotel representatives say are the best in the business. During construction an additional 400 people were on the job on a daily basis.

Some of those jobs are in the hotels new luxury spa which is one of a kind in the area. The new Nee' Spa has 5 treatment rooms, salon, saunas, and steam rooms. Hotel Services Manager Catherine Vanstavern says they offer something any guest could enjoy. "We can do pretty much anything a person is needing. From a basic massage, to a high end facial."
