For the third time in two seasons, Kansas basketball squared off against Ohio State. And for the third time in two seasons, Kansas emerged victorious. Led by Ben McLemore's 22 points, the Jayhawks improved to 10-1 with the 74-66 win.

Meanwhile, No. 12 Missouri faced No. 10 Illinois in the Braggin' Rights game in St. Louis. The Tigers prevailed 82-73 behind point guard Phil Pressey's 12 points and 11 assists.

Kansas State followed the midwest trend and pulled the upset over No. 8 Florida 67-61.
