NEOSHO, MO.--- Mills Park Centre Furniture store has been a part of the Neosho community since 1957. The owner, John Mills says he has decided to close down because of poor economic conditions, and says he's ready to retire.

Four generations of the Mills family have worked in the furniture store. They say it has been a big part of their lives but it's time to move on.

"It's who we are. I work with my family. I worked with my parents all the time that I was growing up and came into the business. All 3 of my kids have been involved in it, and now my grand kids are working here," states John Mills, Owner.

The furniture store will stay open until the entire inventory is liquidated.
