Webb City, Carthage Boys Falter in Neosho Classic Quarters

The Webb City boys led Memphis Sheffield most of the game Thursday night, but scored only one point for a nearly seven minute stretch in the 4th as they ultimately lose 68-64. Meanwhile, Carthage ran up against defending champs Sunrise Christian from Wichita, and hung tough before seeing the game get away from them in the second half.

Plus, the Webb and Carthage girls win for the second day in a row on the girls side, the Missouri Southern men try to avoid the rust as they prepare for an exhibition game at home Saturday and Frontenac baseball winning their first state title is the #5 story on the Action 12 Top 12 Sports Stories countdown.
