JOPLIN -- School security and student safety continue to be hot topics weeks after the deadly school shootings in Connecticut. We turned to students at Joplin High School, and let them speak with their peers about the issues, and what school administrators say they are doing to keep the kids safe.

I think that Shelby and Josh did a fantastic job on this story, as a JHS student. Honestly, I feel like our school has never been safer than it is now. After the tornado, kids have really banded together. There's still high school drama, but not as bad as you would think. BTW, in the description, "speak with their peers*".
