JOPLIN, MO.--- Faculty and staff at Missouri Southern State University turned in evaluations that could be tied to funding. It's part of a program that university leaders hope will give them more insight into the needs of each department.
The project is driven by a decline in statewide budget appropriations.The review will give administrators a better idea of how to spend limited funding.
After the reports are in, a committee will examine the information then use the results to distribute money. The committee is expected to reach a final decision about restructuring the budget by March of this year.
