Man Arrested for Monett Shooting

MONETT, MO--- A 27-year-old man is in custody after police say he fired shots at a Monett home. The unnamed suspect was arrested on Suspicion of Assault and Criminal Action charges. Monett officers say the shooting happened in the area of 7th St. and Benton St. The owner of the home reported the incident around 1:00 am Thursday.

No one was injured. Police believe the shooting stemmed from a domestic dispute between a husband and wife. Officers are not releasing the suspects name until formal charges are filed.
