JOPLIN, MO.--- Representatives from the Joplin Young Professionals Network gave $215 to the Spiva Center for the Arts. The money was raised through a Y.P.N. raffle at an event over the holidays.

Members from the Young Professionals Network say they are happy to be able to give the money to an organization that is such a vital part of the community, and Spiva leaders were thrilled to get it.

"They work with so many nonprofits around the city, and it's so wonderful to be on the receiving end of their generosity and also their interest," said Jo Mueller, Spiva Executive Director.

Spiva directors say the money will go towards their general fund to purchase art supplies and other materials to support their programs.
