JOPLIN, MO.--- The Joplin R-8 Snackpack Program has started a fundraiser on the "Fundly" website. The goal is to reach $25,000. A $5 donation will feed a child for the weekend, $180 will feed a child for the whole school year. Currently, the Snackpack Program helps 650 students every weekend.

"You can donate as little as $20 and that $20 donation would feed one child for a whole month. We have $25,000 we are trying to make up to fill the gap funding and pre-tornado and post tornado," states Michelle Lester, Volunteer, Snackpack Program.
