MIAMI, OK.--- "The Coffee Table" owner Debbie Cobb is originally from Miami. She felt opening a restaurant was a good way to give back to her hometown and spend more time with family.

Cobb still lives in Oklahoma City but since the shop opened in October, she spends 2 to 3 weeks a month in Miami. She says owning her own business has always been a dream.

The Coffee Table is a family affair with Cobbs 2 sisters managing the business and her nephew working behind the counter. Cobb says she's optimistic the shop will succeed despite being in a building which housed many failed convenience stores.

"I started this having the thought of having nothing but success. That's my thought, we're going to be successful," states Debbie Cobb, "The Coffee Table" Owner.

They specialize in homemade soups and sandwiches. "The Coffee Table" is on east Central Street right across from NEO College. Cobb says the location is promising with both the college and high school right across the street.

The owners are currently focusing on marketing the restaurant and developing a customer base, they hope to cater large events in the future.
