Mall Jewelry Theft

JOPLIN, MO---The theft took place around 9 Tuesday night at Cindi's One Hour Jewelry inside Northpark Mall. Police say seven people entered the store in two different groups.
While the clerk was distracted with other customers, a man reached across a counter and took $20,000 worth of rings. The clerk was unaware of the theft until the other customers left the store.
All seven people involved are now considered suspects. The crime is still under investigation at this time.
