NEVADA, MO.--- 25 Nevada High School students met with Nevada R-5 superintendent last week to discuss their views on security and what ideas they have to improve it.
Students shared ideas such as searching backpacks, using a card swipe to enter buildings, and installing intercom systems at doors.
The superintendent will look into the costs of their ideas. He plans to meet with the group again at the end of the year to discuss what they can do.
