MIAMI, OK.--- 120 students are in the NEO A&M College's nursing program this year. Instructors say nursing shortages are a major concern in northeast Oklahoma. Students are already helping many clinics in the area deal with their shortages.

"We see a lot of our graduates work in all four states so we help with the supply and demand in all corners of the four states," said Debbie Morgan, Nursing Instructor.

66 students graduated with the degree last year. Nearly 20% of NEO students are enrolled in the nursing program this semester.
