JOPLIN, MO.--- A meal in the office is one way some of us try to save time, but it is not always the healthiest way to eat food, especially if you share a desk with someone else. In fact, the average desktop has 400 times more bacteria than the average toilet seat.

"The two biggest culprits areas would be the phone, the receiver of the phone, and then the keyboard. Those are two high touched surface areas that should be cleaned at least once a week," said Karin Watts, Freeman Infection Control Officer.

If your desk is feeling a little sticky, it's probably been too long. Consider using a bleach type product when wiping down your desk.
