Brad's Beat: Record Book Collector

JOPLIN, MO.--- Oma Nichols is a collector of book and record sets. She has over 200 of them and began collecting them for her children.

Thousands of them were produced in the 70's and 80's. Everything from fairy tales to superheroes were the spotlight. She says they taught the kids some valuable lessons.

"It helps with listening skills, helps them with reading, and with listening for the beep by following directions," states Oma Nichols, Book Record Collector.

You can check out many of the book and records sets yourself, they've been put on Youtube. Just a do a simple search. There are hundreds to listen to.
