JOPLIN, MO.--- The phone at Higdeon's Florist in Joplin has been ringing constantly today. It's mainly men trying to make up for forgetting their special valentine this year.

The day after Valentine's Day is surprisingly busy and florist say they'll take several dozen orders of flowers. Florists also say men often have their minds elsewhere and just forget the holiday.

"Men are preoccupied with their work. It's not that they're dumb, they just don't plan, usually," said Marcia Baker, Higdeon's Florist.

So guys, mark on your calendar right now, Valentine's Day is February 14th, 2014. You still have time to avoid the dog house for the 2nd year in a row.
