Halloween Safety Tips & Happenings

In less than 24 hours, you will see kids in all kinds of different costumes knocking on your door begging for candy. When picking out that perfect Halloween costume, it`s important to be safe. Here are some tips to make sure Halloween is safe and fun. Dress the kids in light colors. Also place reflectors on their costumes when trick or treating in the dark. Make sure nose holes are big enough for them to breath through. Some of the most popular costumes this year seem to be those of real life heroes. Now if you would like to show off your kids costumes and have some safe trick or treating all at the same time. The Children`s Miracle Network is hosting two events. One at the John Q. Hammons Convention Center in Joplin and the other is in Neosho at the Recreation Center. Both are going to be held on from 5:30pm to 8:30pm.
