PITTSBURG -- More than 100 kids from kindergarten through seventh grade spent Saturday morning checking out art exhibits on the campus of Pittsburg State University. After getting their daily dose of culture, each of the kids created their own masterpiece. Organizers say their goal was to help kids appreciate the fine arts and have fun while doing it.

"Pittsburg provides an art program, the community should also provide an opportunity for them to learn about art," says PSU art professor Sungee Choi.

To learn more about the art programs offered at PSU, you can call the school at (620) 235-4310.
