CARL JUNCTION, MO.--- In just 1 month, the Carl Junction High School's "Family Career and Community Leaders of America" club, better known as F.C.C.L.A., raised more than $2,000 for the Rapha House.

Members sold jewelry, purses, and candy to accomplish their goal. This Rapha House fundraiser is F.C.C.L.A.'s highest grossing community service project to date. Organizer Kimberly Easter says she is proud of her students hard work and happy they were able to reach this milestone.

"This one was a big one, I think the students all bought into it and gave out brochures. We didn't just want to raise money, we wanted to raise awareness so the community would know that we have a local chapter and what it's for," states Kimberly Easter, Organizer.

The Rapha House fundraiser was held in conjunction with the F.C.C.L.A.'s Coronation ball, Michaela Jones raised the most money and was named queen of the ball.
