A local university is asking for your help. Over the next few weeks, supporters of Pittsburg State will be trying to raise money to pay for things that state funding doesn`t. Leaders in the community and campus campaigns for Pittsburg state will be seeking financial support for scholarships, equipment, professional development and other university needs. Organizers say the financial gifts of faculty, staff and friends of the school make the difference between mediocrity and excellence.
