PITTSBURG, KS.--- Pittsburg State University kicked off its annual Community Campaign this week. School administrators say the Community Campaign is a strong reminder of the ties between the school and the town. School President Doctor Steve Scott says that relationship has always existed, since the school began in 1907.
Dr. Scott says support for the construction of a new Center for the Arts on campus is evidence it continues today. Funds raised during the campaign will support scholarships, academic programs and other university needs.
