Monte price, 39, died of accidental drowning when the boat they were in crashed. Carroll's attorney is trying to prove Carroll was not behind the wheel. 8 witnesses have testified so far, a total of 40 are expected to take the stand.

Price's cousin who was also on the boat was the first to testify. He says Carroll was driving the boat at the time of the crash. The trial is expected to last until the middle of next week. Carroll is on administrative leave from the Jay School District.
