Police Ask for Help in Pittsburg Shooting

An early morning shooting in southeast Kansas sends a Pittsburg woman to the hospital. Just after 7:00a.m. police were called to the Chateau apartment complex at 1905 South Elm in Pittsburg. Deputy Police Chief Tim Tompkins says 22-year-old Caroline German, a white female, had been shot in the shoulder by 19-year-old Nicole Jones, a black female. Both women live in the complex. Jones was last seen driving a four-door 1994 black Dodge Intrepid bearing Texas license plates VNH12X. She may be accompanied by an unknown white female passenger.
