Jasper County Traffic Accident

A young child is alive tonight officials say, thanks to the car seat. Early this morning at 20th and Central City in Jasper County, the driver of a red mini van crashed into a white pickup truck. A mother was driving the van with her infant child strapped in it`s car seat. Both were taken to a local hospital. The extent of their injuries are unknown. The Carl Junction Fire Department and the Missouri Highway Patrol responded to the scene.
