Updated: January 7, 2009
There are few clues about what may have happened the morning Dr. Greg Smith did not show up to work. But area detectives continue to consider the Diamond superintendent a missing person. The prominent superintendent left few clues for detectives who are now working full time trying to locate the missing father of two. Detectives on the case say while they do not believe this case involves foul play, they are not ruling anything out. Det. Carl Frances - Joplin Police Dept. "We don`t have any information one way or the other. We are not ruling anything out just yet. Right now we are trying to find out his last actions and where he was and where he`s at right now." If you have any information about Dr. Smith`s disappearance, you are urged to contact the Joplin Police Department at 623-3131.
