Johnson Enters Guilty Plea

An area man enters a plea in the murder of a Joplin woman. 46-year old Ronnie Johnson pleaded guilty to second-degree murder in connection with the slaying of 34-year old Melissa Boviall. Investigators say Boviall was killed in July of last year in Dade County, Missouri. Boviall died as a result of asphyxiation. Formal sentencing for Johnson has been set for next April.
