Christmas Art Display

Updated: January 7, 2009
It`s beginning to look a lot like Christmas, especially at Joplins Northpark Mall. Art students from Joplin High School created these Christmas scenes to be displayed while parents and children wait in line to see Santa. The students drew scenes from the book ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas. Many of the drawings measure 8 feet tall. Art teachers say many of the students came in on the weekends to complete the project. The artwork will be revealed to the public this Saturday and stay up throughout Christmas. The display is located in the food court section of the mall. Jolly old Saint Nick arrives at 11:00am this Saturday.
