By: Import User
Updated: January 7, 2009
A local Native American tribe lends a helping hand to a Four State Police Department. Less than one month ago, concerns about financial difficulties in Quapaw Oklahoma threatened the local police force. Now, the Peoria Tribe is offering the department a new building to operate from, lowering costs and offering the tribe police protection. The tribe leased the building to the Quapaw Police Department for $1. The lease is set for one year with an option to renew at the end of that time.
