Ham Sandwich Soup Wins Prize

A Four-State chef is being celebrated as the best in the nation. Lynn Sunderland, a chef with the MSSC food contractor Ameri-Serve has won a national cooking contest. The contest was sponsored by the Kraft Food Company who presented Sunderland with a $2,000 check today. Her prize-winning recipe was for Ham Sandwich Soup and will now be nationally published. Sunderland is a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America. She has worked at Missouri Southern since 1998.
