Red Cross Packages

Red Cross workers want to remind four state residents to open their hearts. If you want to send holiday packages to service members overseas, the items to be shipped must be received by next Monday. Red Cross workers ask that items be brought individually because the workers must pack and ship all the boxes. You may send things such as Christmas decorations, music cd`s, candy, and books. The items will be shipped to locations in Bosnia, Kosovo, and Kuwait. Organizers say the packages make a huge difference in the lives and morale of each service member. Again the final date to take the items to the Red Cross is next Monday. The local office in Joplin is located at 410 Jackson.
