New Comic Books

By: Import User
Updated: January 7, 2009
Comic books are a hot item this Christmas season. Marvel Comics is producing two comics in which the proceeds will help go towards disaster relief efforts in New York. The first is called Heroes. Comic book artists drew their impressions of the events of September 11th. Also the latest issue of the comic book The Amazing Spiderman has proceeds going to help out in the clean up of the disaster. The Book Barn in Joplin is having trouble keeping up with the high demand for these books. If you`d like to get a copy of these two books, the Book Barn in Joplin is letting customers sign their names to a list to receive a copy for when they come in. You can stop by at 3128 Main Street in Joplin or give them a call at (417)781-2778.
