Successful Cloning of Human Embryos

Advances in scientific technology continue receiving attention worldwide and here in the Four States. A Massachusetts based research company, Advanced Cell Technology, recently completed a successful cloning of human embryos for possible medical treatment. While the process of human cloning is quite controversial, scientists here at home insist, this form of cloning is for treatment of a variety of diseases. The ultimate decision on continued cloning research rests in Washington. A bill banning the research has already been passed by the House of Representatives.
