Things suddenly became a lot more clear for some Four State residents. Lenscrafters held their annual Hometown Day at the Joplin Northpark Mall. Every year the company helps over 22,000 people nationwide get free glasses. These free eye exams are for people who can`t afford a costly exam. 31 individuals were selected today at the Joplin facility. Lenscrafters also teamed up with the Lions Club to help provide these eye exams and glasses. The event started at 8:00am and lasted until noon.

The Gift of Sight Program also recycles used glass that are used overseas for less fortunate people.
