The state of Missouri is awarded over $82-million to help fight crime and promote public safety. The Department of Justice has released a report of their annual funding. More than $59-million was awarded to law enforcement in the state. Over $11-million was given to juvenile justice program. More than $8-million to victim`s programs. Over 2-million to substance abuse programs and one-million to community based initiatives. The justice department awarded more than $5-billion to all 50-states.
