Barry Co. Man Arrested After Altercation

A Barry County sheriffs captain is held at gunpoint. The incident happened when Captain James Smith responded to an emergency call at a home in Eagle Rock, Missouri. Officials say when he entered the home, he was held at gunpoint by 65-year-old Duane Fessler, along with Fessler`s wife. The two were held until back-up officers arrived, when they were able to escape. Fessler has been charged with first-degree assault of a law enforcement officer.
