The coroner`s report on the death of Four State school superintendent is released to the public. At an afternoon press conference in Neosho, Newton County Coroner Mark Bridges announced the cause of death for former Diamond School Superintendent Dr. Greg Smith to be drowning. However, when comparing the Greene County Coroner`s report and the reconstructed crash scene, his final determination for the manner of death is that of suicide. Newton County Sheriff Ron Doerge says his department will continue investigating Dr. Smith`s death. Doerge says interviews will continue being conducted to help determine what might have caused Dr. Smith to take his own life.
