Mineral House Fire, No One Harmed

An afternoon fire causes extensive damage to a local home. Webb City fire units responded to a blaze in the 1100 Block of Mineral late this afternoon. When firefighters arrived the home was filled with heavy smoke, and fire coming from a closet and attic area. Investigators believe the blaze started in a closet that contained a hot water heater. Family members were able to get out of the home unharmed. No injuries are being reported.
