L G Sourcing is recalling 97,000 halogen table lamps. These lamps can short circuit, posing a fire hazard. The recalled table lamps have a plastic base and two extendable arms connecting the base to a halogen lamp. The lamps were sold in white, red, blue, orange and purple. Item number 101988 is printed on the bottom of the lamp base. They were sold at Lowe's retail outlets nationwide from April 2006 through March 2007 for about $10. Consumers should stop using the lamps immediately and return them to any Lowe's retail outlet to receive a full refund.
