By: Import User
Updated: January 7, 2009
A lawsuit against a Four-State city official will have to wait. Rogers Mayor Steve Womack is home for the holidays from National Guard duty. But a lawsuit alleging racial profiling by city police will have to wait until his tour of duty is complete. Hispanic residents claim they have been targeted by police because of their ethnic background and have sued in federal court. At the city`s request, a federal judge granted a delay in the case until Womack`s duties overseas are complete.
