Movies Popular Choice for Holidays

One option for many area residents this Christmas was to take in a movie. Joplin`s Northstar 14 was open for business today. Managers there said that over 3,000 patrons would pass through the doors this holiday. The turnout is nearly the same as a typical weekend at the box office. With few businesses open this Christmas, managers say this was a great way for families to spend the day. Patrons of the Northstar 14 Theatre were able to chose from a variety of new holiday releases including Lord of the Rings, Jimmy Neutron, and Ali.
