House Fire in Rogers, Arkansas

Investigators in Rogers, Arkansas continue searching for clues to the cause of a house fire that claimed the life a 14-year-old girl Christmas day. Fire fighters believe the fire started at or near the Christmas tree in the home. 14-year-old Sarah Ross was killed in the blaze. Her parents Randy and Vicki tried to rescue their daughter, but were unsuccessful. They were both treated for smoke inhalation and released. The Rogers Fire Department says this is the first fatal house fire in their city in more than five years.
