Duneweg Police Chief on City Council Agenda

By: Import User
Updated: January 7, 2009
A local city could decide the fate of its police chief tonight. A city council meeting is just getting underway in Duneweg. One item on the agenda, what to do after charges are filed against Police Chief Rick Marble. Marble is facing charges of second-degree assault. The charges are the result of a high-speed chase through Jasper County in late November. Investigations want to know why marble fired shots into the car of a fleeing suspect. In December, Marble was suspended from his job by the Duneweg City Council. If convicted, Marble could lose his state certification to be a law enforcement officer.
