A Local Community is Growing

By: Import User
Updated: January 7, 2009
As of yesterday, the town of Duenweg has gotten a lot bigger. An annexation that more than doubles Duenwegs size is now in effect. Voters approved the annexation five months ago. Duenweg`s new boundaries are Newman Road and 20th Street. Mayor Russell Olds says they are responsible for about 60 more people and one and a half square miles more room. The biggest reasons for the annexation are Duenweg`s past growth and what the city is expecting for the future. Olds says the town has already benefited from the growth and that it will continue to see positive things as a result of the annexation.
