The man implicated as the leader of an immigrant smuggling ring for Tyson Foods pleads guilty. Amador Anchondo-Rascon pleaded guilty today to a conspiracy charge as part of a deal with prosecutors. His plea carries a maximum possible sentence of five years in prison, a $250,000 fine and forfeiture of any gains from the conspiracy. Six Tyson executives were indicted last month on charges of conspiring to smuggle illegal immigrants to work at the Springdale, Arkansas, company`s poultry processing plants. Tyson has denied the charges, saying any wrongdoing by employees was done on their own.
