Arrests Made in Joplin-Area Robberies

Officials make three arrests in connection to a string of convenience store robberies in Joplin. After another robbery was reported Friday night at Lacey`s Convenience Store in Joplin. Officials saw what they described as suspicious activity near the scene. Officers stopped a vehicle and after conducting an initial investigation, arrested all three occupants. They are 25-year old Juan Salazar of Belton, Missouri, 23-year old Maria Salazar of Joplin, Missouri and 28-year old Brandy Larrabee of Belton. They have all been charged with first-degree armed robbery in both Newton and Jasper Counties. The three suspects are being held on $100,000 for a robbery, which occurred December 29th on 32nd Street. They are being held on an addition $25,000 bond for another robbery on January 4th at a convenience store on Florida Street.
