Teen Sentenced in Four-State Robbery Case

A southwest Missouri teen has been sentenced for his role in a Four State bank robbery. 19-year old Wesley Elmore of Nevada has been given a 12 and a half year prison sentence in connection with the robbery of a Cedar County Bank. Elmore and two other young men robbed the Liberty Bank in El Dorado Springs of more than $1,000 a year ago today. Elmore entered a guilty plea back in November to armed criminal action and first degree robbery. 18-year-old Darrell Sander received a ten year sentence for his involvement. 21-year-old Donald Cousins of Joplin was shot and killed by a Vernon County deputy while trying to flee the scene.
